After all the who har and the constant barrage of Bird Box parody videos on Twitter and You tube I had to see this film, a film my mate at work said was "shit" so I had to make up my own mind about this. Here is my opinion on it, it was actually very good, not knowing much of the story helped, and yes apart from the stupid people pretending to be blind videos I didn't do any research on this movie, to which I believe made a better viewing experience. A film that Sandra Bullock who to her credit is a great actress, this being by far her best performance I've seen her in, the normal rom com queen and comedy movies, but this gal can actually act, and my goodness she is amazing in this. Apart from firstly not knowing how to row a boat, and by the way at least a third of the movie is on the river, you can actually see her having no clue whatsoever to an accomplished rower, and this was deliberate by the director involved as he wanted to see her progression so all th

I'm gonna be honest I watched this whilst having a few beers and some Jack, but unlike some I feel I notice more and have a more enlightened experience whilst being a little drunk, in all fairness I think I needed to be as all the negative press about this movie is actually true. I so wanted to like this film starring Taron Eggerton and Jamie Fox, in a steampunk version of Robin Hood, the trailer looked decent and drew you in, unfortunately the parts they showed are the best bits, as the dialogue and script, plotting is non existent, even confusing, I put this down to my alcohol consumption but after a quick watch of certain scenes again sober I realized they still made no sense. The editing is annoying with a jump cut, fast edit, fast motion style of filmaking last seen 12 years ago in 300, to which other film makers have since moved on from. The greatest concert film I have seen.

My favourite concert film ever,filmed when they couldn't have been more popular,especially in the States. Filmed at Madison Square Gardens in New York. And trust me I have seen that place and it is Huge. A concert that is wisely known as their best live performance,although others will disagree. They were in the prime of their lives. A band so famous even Cameron Crowe's Biopic Almost Famous,is hinted that it was Led Zeppelin he was following,whilst reporting for Rolling Stone Magazine,not the fictional band that is actually in the film. Led Zeppelin's music is timeless and all the classics are on here from Whole Lotta Love, Stairway To Heaven,Moby Dick, Rock And Roll, No Quarter, The Song Remains The Same, Black Dog,and Bron-Yr-Aur. A must buy DVD for any fan, but also a great film to show to new comers, just how good a band they are.
